THE FOUNDATION:

Stichting Peace, Justice and Security Foundation The Hague is a non-profit organization registered with the Dutch KVK (Chamber of Commerce). The foundation’s goal is to create awareness and promote the ideals of Peace, Justice and Security globally and across all age groups and communities.  Additionally, provide a information hub and platform for the public and institutions in The Hague and other stakeholders to stimulate a more inclusive dialogue on peace, justice and security.

 

Stichting Peace, Justice and Security Foundation The Hague has applied for an ANBI (a Public Benefit Organization). This means that donors are allowed to deduct their donations from income tax or corporation tax under certain conditions. By Dutch law, all ANBIs registered in the Netherlands have to publicize the following information:

OBJECTIVE:

Organise events and produce educational material aimed at creating and promoting awareness about the ideals of Peace, Justice and Security globally and across all age groups and communities.  Additionally, provide a information hub and platform for the public and institutions in The Hague and other stakeholders to stimulate a more inclusive dialogue on peace, justice and security.

 

REMUNERATION POLICY: 

The board members receive no remuneration for their work. Board members can be reimbursed for costs incurred in the execution of their function.

ACTIVITIES REPORT:

Foundation activities will start in September 2016.  After which, an activities report will be available to highlight the various activities by the foundation.

Our main activities include:

> Producing educational materials for all age groups.

> Creating awareness about peace, justice and security through events, publications etc.

> Producing material and programs also designed specifically with children in mind.

> Regional interactive education centers.

> Creating partnerships with already established organisations to distribute our work.

The foundation’s activities will be funded by individuals, companies, fundraising events and other charitable organisations through donations or sponsorships.   The foundation will also apply for grants to further its projects and work around the world.
